 | This is my favorite version of this Supremes classic. Mary & Flo's backing vocals begin with the opening chorus and prominently repeat the chorus in the song's fade. It begins with a spoken intro by Diana Ross. There has been a lot of discussion as to whether or not Flo sings the lead with Diana (whose own vocal is also multi-tracked). I had my own doubts, so I finally decided to do some research. At one time, Wikipedia stated that Florence Ballard co-sang the lead with Diana Ross.
